We just LOVE this color combination of yellow and blue! The yellow topaz 4x5 pocket fold is from Envelopments. We added an adorable daisy graphic and bling to the invitation that was printed on white linen. The RSVP postcard is done in willow blue and slips into the pocket.

I think by now you realize I have an affection for table cards and making them special.  Usually there are fewer than 20 tables at an event - so making them creative and interesting doesn't take a huge chunk out of your budget.  It's these little details & touches that make your event really something to talk about!

My uber-talented friend and office-mate, Martha from Blooms by Martha Andrews, asked me to create some special table cards (pictured above) for an intimate wedding show participated in a few months back at Le Rivage in Sacramento.  These table cards coordinated with the theme of each table (or floral design concept) she created.  Check out Martha's blog for pics on the table-scapes.

Photography business on the horizon?  Not likely.  I do love photography and would really like to keep it as my hobby - a way to relax, unwind and be purely creative.  I had the absolute pleasure of photographing my (well, sort of) niece's senior portraits a few weeks ago in Old Sacramento (the very same night I realized that I was coming down with chicken pox!).

Without going into a long story - I have known Ashli since the day she was born (and, yes, that makes me feel old) and am thrilled to see her grow into the creative, passionate, responsible young lady she is today.  Ashli is also my son's "numero uno" kidsitter and my occasional assistant around the studio.  I am so excited for her as she takes the next steps in her life when she graduates from high school this year.

last weekend we met with the wonderful cleveland morris -- who is sales manager of the radley run country club, in west chester, pa. he is new to the club and has big plans to reinvent the rental spaces that grace the battle of brandywine -- he wants to embrace that wonderful history and turn it into a unique location to hold a wedding reception. he gave us a great tour of the mansion that is over 200 years old and beautiful banquet room in the country club. 

we are excited to redesign the wedding menus and hope to continue a nice relationship with the country club as it grows in popularity for future brides and grooms.

This panel pocket fold was created in a soft lavender, green and ivory color scheme. The Bride wanted a whimsical, garden feel to her invitations to match the type of ceremony they will be having. She also included a letter to her guests telling them a bit about the weekend wedding events.

It is so amazing how by just changing the color scheme, fonts and ribbon you can get a totally different look from one invitation design to another. This panel invitation was done in crimson red, metallic silver and crisp white linen then wrapped with a metallic organza ribbon. We added a bit of bling to the graphics for that extra special touch!
