a formal wedding invitation for elizabeth and christopher who were married this summer at the historic
hotel du pont in delaware. we designed their
save the date last year and carried over the regal shades of gold and eggplant as well as the subtle diamond pattern onto their invitation package and day of materials.
the invitation suite was printed on metallic ivory paper. guest names, even funny nicknames, were handwritten onto the gold metallic belly bands by melanie from
gracefully addressed for that extra special personal touch. the invite was adhered to a gold metallic backer to achieve a framed look and make it feel like the most important piece of the package. the smaller reception and response card were tucked neatly into the band to create an elegant layered effect. the etched entreƩ animals and flourished frame designs both added some unexpected whimsy to an overall elegant set. metallic gold ink was used for the return address and melanie also addressed the outer eggplant envelopes in gold.
we have lots of coordinating day of materials from this wedding to share with you in the coming weeks!

we were blown away by the cream of
the crop at
the cream event in nyc last week! this was by far the best wedding showcase we've seen to date!! we were joined by our friend and designer,
sharon, who is curating her own wedding next year. the soiree took place in
center 548, an incredible white warehouse in the middle of chelsea. we walked into a freight elevator and were greeted with real live elevator music by a duo from philly's own
elan artists who strummed away as we rode to the 2nd floor. the enormous elevator doors opened up into a fairy tale world of gold sparkles, patterns, champagne, and loads and loads of talent. we got lost in the dreamy party for a couple of hours and left with some fabulous ideas and of course a couple glittery gifts for ourselves from
ban.do! check out more of the night and fun dance party in this
