work wednesday: elizabeth + andrew.

a very whimsical save the date for elizabeth and andrew who are getting married at the please touch museum this coming spring. the front of this card features a carousel* in honor of the restored 1908 dentzel carousel that spins happily in memorial hall where the reception takes place. we used bright colors and mixed fonts inspired by this charming children's museum. the card was finished off with a tag that reads 'save the date' on the front and wedding date on the back. the finished piece was mailed out in a robin's egg blue envelope with coordinating address label.

*we had a special request to include icons representing the bride and groom's hobbies in the top pattern of the carousel. it may be difficult to see...try to spot the teeny-tiny ultimate frisbee player and paint brush!

work wednesday: jessica + james.

jessica and james are getting married this november at st. john the baptist church, followed by a reception at the philadelphia four seasons hotel. she requested a formal invitation package that exuded old hollywood elegance. we achieved this with an oversized two color 6" x 9" letterpress invite that was adhered to a pocket fold. this pocket fold pattern of silvery plumes on charcoal metallic paper was the perfect solution to keep the reception, reply, and accommodation card organized. the front of the reply postcard was a nice place to incorporate a touch of philadelphia. we used a vintage photograph of logan circle, because this iconic fountain is located across the street from the venue. this image was also used on the postage for the outer envelope. we also created a classic monogram for the couple that was pressed on the invite and carried over to the reply card postage and small tag that closed the pocket fold. two delicate swarkvoski crystals added just the right amount of glamour to the crest.

the package was stuffed inside a lined metallic charcoal envelope which was addressed in white calligraphy by the fabulous lindsey bee.

work wednesday: debbie + michael.

debbie + michael will be wed in just a few short weeks with a celebration at the fabulous tendenza, a magnificent venue in northern liberties by cescaphe event group. we learned about debbie's love for graphic patterns and fonts when we designed her save the date and knew she wanted to carry her super bold style over to the invitation suite. we layered pattern upon pattern for their stacked package! the suite included a monogram, address label, custom envelope liner, invitation, rsvp postcard and informational card for the guests. everything was held together neatly with two ribbons that complimented her black, white, purple and green palette. they also created a custom mailing stamp on their own with a small photo of their high school, where they met!

debbie + michael took on all of the assembly and added a little happily ever after to the package....

we wish them a fabulous wedding day!

work wednesday: tina + tom. wedding day.

a program fan and rehearsal invite to coordinate with the wedding invitation that we designed for tina + tom's august wedding. the program fan was printed in full color on cranes lettra paper with rounded corners. the paper was adhered to a wooden handle and accented with red + white striped washi tape. the fan was the perfect accessory for a warm outdoor wedding ceremony.

their rehearsal dinner was held in the vesper boathouse in philadelphia's famous boathouse row. tom came to us with the idea to make this invite an actual postcard with a line drawing of boathouse row on the front. we had fun drawing this iconic scene just for them! wishing t + t all the best!
