the big day: jenny + ky.



a glimpse into jenny + ky's big day! a beautiful balance of a modern wedding and chinese tradition. in addition to her gorgeous lace and pickup wedding gown, jenny wore this beaded red dress (above) for the chinese tea ceremony where they offered tea to their elders to receive their blessings. before the tea ceremony the bridesmaids and groomsmen played the chinese wedding door game. we learned that in this game the groom is blocked at the bride's door by her bridesmaids who ask questions about the bride to test how much he truly cares for her. the groom will try to buy his way in by presenting 'li shi', token money wrapped in red envelopes. we wish this happy couple all the best!
