There is nothing like an invitation.  And with texting, emailing and blogging getting an invitation in the mail - yes, the mail ... you know that silver box thing-y on the corner ... the one where only bills and junk mail reside - is a pure simple luxury these days.  An invitation is the first glimpse to your event and really sets the expectation for the type of event awaiting your guests.

The boxes are made in your choice of 100% Dupioni silk or a poly blend silk (pictured above).  I actually prefer the feel of the poly blend.  It's super smooth and really soft to the touch.  There are an infinite number of silk fabrics & ribbon colors to choose from - and the bejeweled embellishments are simply to die for.   The bejeweled embellishments come in a wide range of themes, colors and styles - brooches, buttons, buckles, closures - and themes from very simple shapes to the beach inspired to vintage victorian.  Oooo, and the boxes come in a bunch of sizes and styles - gate folds (pic 5), box style (pic 1-4), folios (think folded card), mini favor boxes.  Sizes range from 5x7, 7x7, 6x9.

Lemons, Limes & Oranges were the inspiration for this Z Card invitation. This metallic green 4x5 Z Card is from Envelopments, we wrapped the outside with a spiral print vellum that holds the RSVP postcard and a 2 sided wedding details card. The front of the invitation has a favorite quote of the couple's printed on it.
